WHAT WE BELIEVE

Nowra Baptist Church is made up of people who have been transformed by the life changing news about Jesus. It is our heart’s desire that all people come to know the love of God and the hope that is only found in Jesus.

We believe that the Bible is God’s Word to us. Understanding the Bible and applying it to our lives is foundational to all we do.

The Bible reveals that Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, came into the world to save us from the consequences of our willful rebellion against God. The Gospel of John says “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him” John 3:16-17

Through his death and resurrection, the forgiveness of sins and eternal life are granted to those who trust Jesus as Saviour and Lord.
